All Mustang-based Shelby GT automobiles have the inherent look of a renegade in one way or another, but the 1967 GT350 and GT500 put it all together in a way that arguably has not been done since. Although large enough through the bulkhead to accommodate the big block for the first time, the ’67 Mustang was still a very lithely-proportioned car, and in fighting Shelby trim it had an air of toughness about it that exceeded many of its competitors. Add Ford’s mid-toned Brittany Blue and White stripes and it positively looks like a Cobra Daytona offspring, tough but also beautiful.

Only 2,048 GT500s were built in 1967. This Basic Order model is one of only 438 finished in Brittany Blue and one of only 348 built with this one’s trim and color combination. Restored and fresh, this GT500 is exceptionally clean, complete in every detail and adheres to the highest standards inside and out.

The 428 4-speed, power discs and extra cooling capacity make this car’s performance purpose quite clear. There’s driver and passenger comfort available too however, in the form of power steering and the Courtesy Light Group in the Décor interior.

This is altogether a truly sterling example of Shelby’s big GT for ’67.
