2019 mclaren senna
$1,400,000

General Information
This 2019 McLaren Senna is #422 of 500 examples produced to commemorate racing driver Ayrton Senna’s success with the McLaren Formula 1 team and was delivered new to McLaren San Francisco in California, where it was purchased new by the current owner. The carbon-fiber monocoque body wears a “Full Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre Body” finish with McLaren Orange accents, and power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Over $384k in options were specified, including the McLaren Track Telemetry package, staggered-diameter multi-piece wheels with black spokes and carbon fiber rims, Gorilla Glass door panels, front and rear parking sensors, a backup camera, a glass upper rear bulkhead, black Alcantara upholstery with orange accents, a Bowers & Wilkins seven-speaker audio system, and a bespoke steering wheel.
The Senna was designed under the direction of McLaren Automotive’s Rob Melville and built on the carmaker’s MonoCage III carbon-fiber monocoque platform. This example was optioned with the “Full Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre Body” finish, a $268,305 option, as well as McLaren Orange accents and the exterior paint detailing package, the latter being an additional $61,027 option. Equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a backup camera, a Formula One-inspired roof scoop, front and side air intakes, rear air louvers, a double-element rear diffuser, and an electronically adjustable rear wing that also acts as an airbrake. Gorilla Glass on the doors was also optioned from the factory.
The 19″ front and 20″ rear multi-piece wheels feature black spokes with carbon fiber rims, and are mounted with McLaren Orange center locks. The wheels wear 245/35 and 315/30 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. RaceActive Chassis Control II was standard as were double-wishbone independent suspension, adjustable damping and roll modes, multiple stability-control modes, Variable Drift Control, Brake Steer, and launch control. Stopping power is provided by McLaren Orange–finished six- and four-piston aluminum monobloc calipers paired with 390mm carbon-ceramic rotors front and rear.
The steering wheel is trimmed in bespoke black Alcantara with a McLaren Orange stripe and is equipped with carbon-fiber paddle shifters. It sits ahead of a configurable digital display that folds flat to expose a simplified digital tachometer, gear indicator, and speedometer. The digital odometer shows 75 miles. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 is a modified version of the engine found in the 720S and was codenamed M840TR for this application. Factory-rated output was 789 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 590 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm.
